Ethics is not
a constraint —
it is our foundation.

Pulver Industries was founded with ethics at its core. We believe those who build powerful defence technologies carry a unique responsibility to think carefully about what they are building and for whom.

How we think.

01

Democracies only

We have established quantitative and qualitative guidelines to evaluate potential customer countries. We only work with open, democratic societies. This criterion is non-negotiable and will never be waived for commercial reasons.

02

Human in the loop

While the topic of human-in-the-loop is well established, we have found that its effectiveness depends on factors including cognitive load, perceived reliability of AI, and fatigue. We actively research and design for meaningful human oversight — not checkbox compliance.

03

Transparency & auditability

Our internal ethics processes are transparent and standardised. Decisions are documented and auditable — both at the time they are made and historically. We hold ourselves accountable to a standard that can be independently verified.

04

Ethics as a practice

We run regular ethics workshops across the company. Nearly every candidate interview raises ethical questions. We encourage critical thinking from all employees and invest in building genuine ethics capability — not just policy documents.

If we — as open societies — care about ethics, we cannot leave the development of advanced defence technologies to third parties.
